Loyal
"Toward the loving and loyal You will show Yourself loving and loyal, and with the upright and blameless You will show Yourself upright and blameless" (2 Samuel 22:26 AMP). The church needs to seek faithfulness unto the Lord greater in this last hour. Living our lives for Jesus Christ can be a little tough, especially when we lack faith. Many times we can find ourselves trying to serve Him and willing do everything for Him, but we are doing it under our own will and power, without faith. This is when the believer gets into trouble. Many times the believer expects something to come forth out of their works, like a reward for their doings. In this case, they will get rewarded for their works, but only by men. The minute we turn away from the Lord to do our own thing, is the minute we renounce Him as King over our lives. Eventually it will become a normal behavior for the believer to walk in and abide in their own understanding. Many have come to a point of seeking God only in the days and times of trouble, yet they are not abiding with Him on a daily basis. As a result, one will become spiritually dead because the source of life has been cut off. The flow of the living waters from the throne of God has been forgotten about. One can quickly become religious in their hearts. Their lives are all about playing the part, just to get by and to fill their conscience. Turn to the Lord in faith. In these last days, He is surely showing the world through great and terrible signs that He is soon to return. God bless you. Amen
