Give thanks before his God.

"When Daniel knew that the document had been signed, he went to his house where he had windows in his upper chamber open toward Jerusalem. He got down on his knees three times a day and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as he had done previously" (Daniel 6:10 ESV). The world cannot take your worship or praise. Daniel was a praying man, a man that looked up to God and who had communion with our Lord daily. There came a time when a decree was established against every man or woman who was caught praying to their own God. According to this decree, if they were caught they would be thrown into the lion's den. However, this did not stop Daniel from praying. He opened his windows towards Jerusalem, knelt down, and prayed three times that day. Daniel was a prayer warrior, and there was no way a decree, a law, or a king was going to stop him from praying and worshiping the One True God. Men may not want you to pray, whether it be in your school, work, or place of residence, but that cannot stop a praying man or woman if they have a deep desire to reach up to Heaven. Time is short, and it's time we open up our windows in our chambers and begin to pray towards our cities, towns, and countries, whether others like it or not. Make it a habit to pray! The lion's den did not stop Daniel from getting on his knees and seeking our God. There are so many things that have stopped many people from getting on their knees and seeking the Lord. It's time to check our hearts. Are we truly desiring conversation with our God? God bless you. Amen
