You will have tribulation
"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world” (John 16:33 NKJV). Are you ready to stand in the midst of persecution that will rise up against every believer in every nation? We see how persecution has come to some of our fellow brethren and in other regions of this world. It may not totally be around us quite yet, but it will soon come to us also. Jesus reminds us that suffering will come upon every believer, and He also says, "If the world hates you, know that it hated Me before it hated you" (John 15:18). We live in a time where the enemy has blinded so many people from the Truth, even to the point of them abandoning their faith. It hurts to see those who we love so lost in darkness. It hurts to see those around us deceived by the evil one. We, the church, cannot give up praying and interceding for this harvest and the laborers of the harvest. We must continue to believe that God is about to do something powerful. "Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master. If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also'" (John 15:20 NKJV). The time has come when the children of God must stand for Christ, despite the outcome of our lives. The enemy is only getting bolder. It's time to get stronger in the Lord. God bless you. Amen

Right word
"How forceful are right words! But what does your arguing prove"? (Job 6:25 NKJV). Anger kills, hatred murders, but love restores. Arguing does not prove anything, but only gets one stirred up in anger. I recently got into an argument with someone that I love very much, and words were exchanged that hurt both of us. Many times arguing does not settle anything. It only causes more damage and problems than it solves. It is sad that conversations can take a turn when anger arises in the midst of two people who are trying to work things out. Many times the pharisees tried to find fault in Jesus and start arguments with Him, but Christ knew better then to fall for their tricks. We as believers need to learn how to stand up in the midst of arguments and walk away because the flesh can arise. Sometimes it's best to keep our mouths shut, and not let the enemy get a foot hold on us. There is a place and a time to speak your heart out to those who you love. It seems like they are the ones that really come against Who we believe in. Just remember they do not know any better, for many are blinded to the Gospel of Christ. God bless you. Amen

You Are Not Your Own
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing" (John 15:5 NKJV). Jesus makes it clear that the only way you and I will ever bear fruit is to abide in Him. He wants to be first in our lives, and that means self has to go. The Spirit of God is not going to share our bodies with ourselves and with Him. We must remember we are not our own any more. Jesus paid the price for you and I to have a free life, one free of bondage. The Holy Spirit wants all of us or none at all. God created us to be a temple, a place that He can dwell in and manifest His love and peace through. "Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own"? ( 1 Corinthians 6:19). The only way Christ Jesus will show Himself to others is through a willing, self denying, cross believing, and blood bought person. The branch is nothing without the Vine. The branch can only bear fruit when it is one with the Vine. Jesus does not graft the old you into the Vine. The old you must go to the cross and die. Make that decisive dedication with your body to become one with the Lord! God bless you. Amen

Gracious and Merciful
"Nevertheless in Your great mercy You did not utterly consume them nor forsake them; For You are God, gracious and merciful" (Nehemiah 9:31 NKJV). If we are not watchful, the war within us can get the best of us. The Lord is good, even when we are in the middle of a battle. He is always ready to stand up for us. In this last hour, the enemy is using all he can to get our eyes off the One True God. The devil will use family members and loved ones to come against us and the One we believe In. The devil doesn't care how much he hurts us or tries to hurt us. He wants souls to be miserable and full of unforgiveness towards others. He could care less. It doesn't matter to him how old or young an individual may be. He is only out to kill, steal, and destroy everyone of us. We read about the children of Israel and the many times they were in battle with their own souls. They were confused, lost, and in sin. However, God never left them. He abided with them, in hope to get their eyes fixed back on Him. "You also gave Your good Spirit to instruct them, And did not withhold Your manna from their mouth, And gave them water for their thirst" (Nehemiah 9:20 NKJV). In the middle of the wilderness of our spiritual walk, He is willing to take care of you and I. There is going to be quite a few times in our lives that we will want to quit and give up, just as the children of Israel often did. We tend to look the other way and do our own thing, and in doing so we rebel against the commands of God. Remember Jesus is waiting for your cry. God bless you. Amen

Who redeems
"Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies" (Psalms 103:1, 4 NKJV). Christ our Redeemer is merciful, loving, generous, and all giving. He is our Lord Jesus Christ. He was despised and rejected by His own, yet He knew someone would call upon Him. He knew that there would be hurting people that would need Him in a mighty way. So, He kept His Father's command and paid the great price for you and I to be saved. He is our precious Redeemer, who came to save mankind. There is hope for everyone of us, for everyone who looks to Jesus Christ and proclaims Him as their Lord and Savior. There is hope for the sick, the handicap, the blind, and all who are in need. There is hope for those who are spiritually bound, those that are addicted to drugs, to alcohol, and pornography. Christ Jesus is the way out of bondage, our Lord and our Savior is the Answer. It's not time to give up or walk away from the Truth. It is not time to reject the One True God, who gave Himself unto death so that we all might be saved. It is time that we stand together in one accord and proclaim the Gospel to all who are in need. The apostle Paul reminds us that our labor is not in vain. "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord (I Corinthians 15:58 NKJV). God bless you. Amen

Unclean
"So I said: 'Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, The LORD of hosts.'” (Isaiah 6:5 NKJV). The closer we get to God, the more we realize how unclean we really are. His presence will show us that we are far from being perfect in anyway. Isaiah recognized that he was a man of unclean lips and was around people who were also unclean. When one sees God in His glory and majesty, they will recognize how frail and weak they really are. Corruption and contamination from their heart will begin to arise, for the conscience within will be stirred up by the Holy Spirit. There are only two things that one will do when they come before God. They will either run from His presence or fall to their knees before The King of Glory. When God's presence shows up, He will show us who we really are because He gets to do very intent of our hearts. There are those who will ignore Him and what He shows them about themselves. They don't want to feel their conscience being hindered by the Truth. So, they walk away from the Truth, only to try to hide from the Truth. However, there's no hiding from God at all. Jonah tried to run from God, and in doing so he found himself crying out from inside the belly of a whale. God loves us very much, and He shows His great love for us through His Son Jesus Christ. Thank God for the blood of Jesus Christ that washes our sins away. God bless you. Amen

Bread of God
"For the Bread of God is He Who comes down out of heaven and gives life to the world"(John 6:33 AMP). Lift up the One who saved you! Cry out to the One who brought you from death to life! Jesus is worthy of praise. When I was lost, it was dark and gloomy. There was not a light around. I was bound by my flesh and the appetites of it. Nothing was going to set me free from the bitterness and ugliness within my heart. The more I medicated myself with drugs and alcohol the darker life got around me, until there was no life left within me. The devil came in and took my joy, happiness, pure thoughts, integrity, and even my pride, to where I had nothing left. Sometimes we get so busy chasing after things that have no value to us at all. We get so desperate and hungry for the passions and desires of this world, only to find ourselves wanting and desiring more. I tried everything this world has to satisfy my soul, for it hungered for things that would not keep it satisfied. Jesus said if we come to Him we will never thirst or hunger any more. "Jesus replied, I am the Bread of Life. He who comes to Me will never be hungry, and he who believes in and cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me will never thirst any more (at any time)" (John 6:35 AMP) . He was saying our souls will be satisfied and filled with His goodness. The Holy Spirit will always keep us fulfilled. God bless you. Amen

Bid me to come
"And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water" (Matthew 14:28 KJV). Step out of the boat and walk to Jesus. What do you think Peter was thinking when he asked Jesus to call him out upon the waters? Mind you, there was a storm all around them with wind blowing and waves tossing their boat around. Faith in Christ Jesus put Peter out of the boat. He heard the voice of his Master, and he was not about to stay inside a boat that was being tossed by waves. Peter knew it would be safer with the Man who can control the storms. Step out of the boat, step out of religion, step out from the pew, and step into Christ Jesus. Peter knew who Jesus was, and not even fear was going to keep him in a place where he felt secure. God wants to show us Himself every day of our lives, and the place He will show up is in prayer. We must be seeking and desiring, and in the times when the winds do blow and the waves do toss us around, God will show up. Step out of the boat. Do not let fear hold you back from seeing Jesus in the midst of you. Jesus is calling us all saying, "Come and take a step of faith", just as Peter did. "He said, Come! So Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water, and he came toward Jesus" (Matthew 14:29 AMP). Peter walked on water because he wanted to be with our Savior. God bless you. Amen

God spoke.
"For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost" (2 Peter 1:21 KJV). Do you really know Who you serve? Have you ever seen Him or spoken with Him? I am speaking about the Living God, God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. Do you know Him? He is the Living God who has given us His very Word to get us through this life that we live. No one is too young or too old to understand or learn His Word. The Bible, the Word of God, is our guide to eternal life. It is profitable for all purposes of the Christian life. We all need to be taught, corrected, and reproved, why not have this through the words God has spoken in this Bible. There is something for everyone in the Scriptures. The law makes me see who I am, wretched and diseased by sin. However, the law does not give me a cure for my wretchedness. It is so important that we see Jesus through the living Scriptures of this living Bible. The Messiah was promised, that all who believed in Him shall be accepted and saved. He was foretold by the prophets in the Old Testament, who spoke and wrote under the influence and direction of the Spirit of God. The Holy Ghost inspired man to speak and write the message from the Old Testament to the New Testament. Just as the Holy Ghost spoke to them, He also wants to speak to you. Do we really know Who we serve? God bless you. Amen

Seek Him
"Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart" (Psalms 119:2 KJV). Some say, "If God is real, I am going to know Him". That is wrong! God is real! You can know Him to be real if you will seek Him. Getting to know Him is not just opening up the Bible and reading it, but is it is getting alone with Him on your knees and upon your face before Him through prayer. So many Christians hear about Jesus, but do not really know Him. They read about Him in the Gospels, starting with Matthew all the way through the New Testament. He is everywhere in the Word of God, from Genesis to Revelation, yet many don't know Him. Prayer is the way to get to know the One who we serve. One cannot get to know the King of Glory only by a story. It takes a relationship and a desire. Prayer brings God's presence into our presence. In His midst, He will begin to pour out His mind and will, His Spirit, into our lives. We have the right to know Him. You don't have to live guessing whether or not God is real because He is real! We have to know Whom we serve. Unfortunately, prayer is the most neglected practice in the modern day church, but it is the only way we will know Him. Let's stop living a religious life and live an intimate life with Jesus Christ. God bless you. Amen

Weapons of our warfare
We do not war after the flesh
"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds) (2 Corinthians 10:3-4 KJV). " We, as believers, must disturb the devil and demonstrate the power and authority we have in Jesus Christ. Like many in the church today, Sampson lost his sight when he lost sight of God. When he took his heart off God, he could not see anymore, spiritually. Samson's blindness was physical, but with you and I it is a spiritual thing. The enemy is out to take our sight. He will use the attractions of this world to grab our eyes. When the child of God begins to wean themselves away from God's presence, the first thing to be noticed is their blindness. When one begins to see things that once were wrong in their lives as no longer wrong, that person is blinded. Their sight has grown dim. We need a rebirth of spiritual desire in the church today. Some of us were excited for God and the new life we can have in Him, but now many look to the world for their excitement. They learn how to be religious and are like zombies. They can no longer see the affect of sin. Their worship is mechanical. Many don't know that they are dead. Samson compromised with the enemy. It cost him his eyes. It will cost everyone who plays with the enemy their eyes also. To the blind, the world is no longer the enemy, but it becomes a misunderstood friend. Those who have been blinded have lost their appetite for spiritual things. It is going to take more than coming to church. It is going to take prayer and fasting of the church to open the eyes of the blind. It will take a new consecration to restore that spiritual appetite. God bless you. Amen

Pray
"And when he had sent them away, he departed into a mountain to pray" (Mark 6:46 KJV). Our communication with God is what keeps us near to God and Him near to us. God is faithful to fulfill His promises in our lives, and in doing so we too must be faithful to God. Prayer helps, not only does it help but it is a great must in our lives. Prayer is an action of our trust in our Lord Jesus Christ. Powerful men and women of God that we've read about in history, were men and women of prayer. They devoted themselves to have daily communion with our Lord. In deep opposition of time, they went and hid themselves away from every public eye and distraction and began to call upon our Lord Jesus Christ. Christ said to follow after Him and abide in Him, the Word of Truth. When we do this, we follow Him to the place where He is right now, at the right hand of God the Father interceding for all humanity. Jesus' ministry never stopped. He is still very much involved and on the front lines for you and I. The greatest ministry we see Jesus involved in, when He walked this earth and as He is in heaven, is the ministry of intercessional prayer. If we are truly following our Savior, our Lord, our Redeemer, our Jesus, then we are following Him to a place of prayer. God bless you. Amen

Delivered us
"Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins" (Colossians 1:12-14 KJV). We are washed by the blood of Jesus. There is no other power that can take our sins away. It is only through the blood of Jesus. He did not come to condemn the world or point His finger at us and say we are unworthy. He came to save those who are lost, bound, addicted, in need, hopeless, sick, blind, and those who do not have a desire to live anymore. Jesus did not come on His own accord, but He came to do the Father's will. In doing so, He hung on a cross, defeating all principalities, powers, and darkness that hinders and tries to overpower the world. The born-again believer must realize that Jesus gave every one of us the same power to overcome this world. Just the way Jesus was tempted by the devil, we too will be tempted by the tempter, the accuser of the brethren. At that point, we have a choice to fall for the temptation or to combat the enemy with the Word of God. It takes the Word of God to defeat the devil. We could try psychology, philosophy, medication, or counselors, but the Truth is there is only One who can defeat satan and darkness, that One is Jesus Christ the Son of God. God bless you. Amen

Obedient children
"As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance" (1 Peter 1:14 KJV). Obedience to the Word of God opens the heavens. Obedience and faith go together, for one must be obedient to the command of God in order to step out by faith. Behind every command of God, there is a promise unto His children. Stepping out in faith is stepping into action led by the Holy Spirit to do the will of God. Jesus did not come to do His own thing, but He came to do the will of God the Father. Everything Jesus spoke came from the throne room of God, and every miracle Jesus did came from God the Father. Jesus did not come to fulfill His own will but to fulfill what God had commanded Him to do. Jesus is our greatest example of one who walks by faith and not by sight. He did not allow the world to distract Him or cheat Him from the blessings and promises of God. Too many times we allow the world to deceive us and take our faith. God commanded that we be separated from the contaminations of the world, and when we do so He will fulfill His promises in our lives. We must step out first in action, then God will step out in action on our behalf. Faith begins with us, and it begins with us being obedient to God's commands. God bless you. Amen

To do thy will
"Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God" (Hebrews 10:7 KJV). Jesus was guided by the Holy Ghost into the wilderness, where He was tempted by satan. The only way Jesus was able to stand up against the devil and the temptations was through His obedience to the Word of God. Obedience goes hand-in-hand with faith. When one is obedient to Jesus Christ, Who is the Word of God, one will step out of the normal into the supernatural by faith. Heaven never intervenes until we obey the Word of God. There must be a response on our part, or there will not be any action on God's part. Jesus was able to stand against satan because He allowed the Holy Spirit to guide Him, control Him, and lead Him. We never hear of Jesus doing His own thing. He always did as the Father in heaven commanded Him to do. Jesus learned how to be obedient through the sufferings He faced. Jesus was the meekest man that ever walked on this earth, and in His meekness He learned obedience, power, wisdom, knowledge, and the will of God. Jesus was not in control of His own life. He was under the control of God. God is looking for those who will step out by faith in this last hour and follow Him. In doing so, one must be obedient to the Word of God. God bless you. Amen

His anointed
"The Lord is their strength, and He is the saving strength of His anointed." (Psalms 28:8 KJV). We must refuse any bondage, slavery, or trick that will trap us or tempt us by the enemy. We are anointed in Jesus Christ, and though His anointing He has given us, His children, the authority over Satan himself. We are no longer slaves to the dark world. We might have been trapped at one time, but the Blood of Christ Jesus has set us free. We are now children of Light, living in Jesus Christ. Temptation will come and try to steal and kill our faith, but the price Jesus payed for us at Calvary is greater and more powerful than any temptation the devil tries to throw at us. We are the Church and Children of God, and we have a Big and Powerful Daddy, who is always looking out for us. He knows our needs and wants. Nothing sneaks past Him, nor can He be fooled. "A fool despiseth his father's instruction..." (Proverbs 15:5 KJV). It is the fool who will learn the hard way, but we, as His children, are ready for whatever may come our way. God bless you. Amen

Living Waters
"He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water" (John 7:38 KJV). There is no greater well of water than that which flows from the Throne of God and brings life to the sinner who repents. This beautiful Fountain brings life to those who thirst and hunger for something other than this world. It saves us from the snare of death. It is for those who have decided to follow Jesus. Our Lord gives us Living Water. It is a life quenching flow from God. We draw from the well of Christ. We draw from the unfailing well of Living Water. Jesus shouted out, "If any man thirsts, let him come unto me, and drink." This Living Water is the Spirit of God, the Holy Ghost. In these last days, we must draw near to God Himself, for this world is blinded and living in compromise. This world must see the True Light, which comes to an individual who has been emptied from this world and is a vessel filled with Living Water. This Living Water comes by faith to those who seek God's face and thirst for His presence. This can only happen in the prayer closet, while we are alone with Christ. God bless you. Amen

Healed
"And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague" (Mark 5:29 KJV) Before coming to Christ, I used to look for help from everyone possible and from many other things. I would try to find a physician or a remedy that would fulfill my emptiness. Let me tell you, the world is more than happy to give us what they call a "quick fix" for our emptiness and the void that is within our hearts. However, the more of these "quick fixes" I got the greater the need became. Man can only put a bandage over our hearts. They do not have the tools to go in and fulfill the void. I recognized I was powerless to fulfill the void in my life and so was everyone else that I asked for help from. There are many people, possibly even born again believers, who are on prescription medication, whether it is for anxiety, pain, depression, or any other illness that haunts the body. At one time, the church was a place of healing and restoration. It was the first place the sick, the sinner, the lost, and the needy went. However, now the hospitals, prisons, and mental wards are filled with people with illnesses and wickedness, when the church should once again be the first place they go to. See, the woman with the issue of blood stepped out from doubt and into faith, and in doing so she received her healing. Immediately the flow stopped. We, as born-again believers, have that same faith inside of us. The moment we excepted Jesus Christ as our Savior He gave us that same faith that the woman had, as a gift, the faith to step out and trust Him. God bless you. Amen

I shall be whole
"For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole" (Mark 5:28 KJV). It's time we take a step of faith into the call of God. Some of us may be sick, hurt, or bound, but we have a faithful Savior who looks upon us. Step out from among the crowd, reach for Christ, and receive from our Lord by faith. This woman had deep and personal issues that no one could heal. She was tired of being bound by her illness. She was tired of living a life separate from those she loved. This woman was unclean and without any hope. However, when she heard Jesus of Nazareth coming through, she was not about to let herself stop her from receiving. She knew she was going to get her healing someway or somehow from the Man of God. She knew within her heart that if she would just reach out and touch the hem of His garment she would be healed. That is faith! It is faith when one steps out in action, in hope to receive from God above. Faith is when one lets go and separates themselves from the world. She had doubt in man because she was at a point in her life where she spent all she had on doctors to help her get well, but as a result of doing so it only worsened. So, doubt probably came to her many times over the 12 years of being ill. However, when she heard of Jesus Christ, something came upon her. She had nothing to lose. She was now walking in faith, and she stepped out into the crowd of people, where before she wouldn't dare to do so. Faith began to stir up inside of her. We need to walk by faith and not by sight. God bless you. Amen

Lord, who shall abide
"Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart" (Psalms 15:1-2 KJV). Your righteousness and faithfulness, Oh Lord, has set me free. What you, my Lord Jesus, did at Calvary 2,000 years ago has set me free. Your blood, which has purchased me and washed me clean, has set me free. I am no longer bound or in bondage to evil or my selfish desires. Through Jesus Christ, I am free. What a blessing it is to have a Savior, a Mediator, a Redeemer, our Lord, who we can trust and rely on to see our families free. My Jesus can set my family free just as He has freed me. The Spirit of God is given to anyone who believes in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, for the very purpose of keeping the child of God in peace and rest in our Savior. The Spirit of God tugs within us, groans through us, and longs for more of Christ and His presence. The Holy Ghost keeps us in line with every good thing that God gives from above. He keeps us hungry for more of the Living Word, more of the Living Water, and more of the Fruit of the Spirit. The Holy Ghost is full of God, for one cannot be filled enough with God. The overflow that flows over our cups is for others to receive through the very life of the child of God. What a blessing we have in Jesus Christ. We can never get enough. God bless you. Amen

He preserveth
"Ye that love the Lord, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked" (Psalms 97:10 KJV). God's hands are bigger than any wicked hands. God recognizes what evil does to a person's heart and soul. He sees what darkness does to an entire family, household, and home. Evil destroys all that it can get its paws on, and there is nothing good about it. The only way to battle evil is by putting our faith in the One who defeated all evil at Calvary. Those who call upon His name and stand in faith in Jesus Christ will preserve their souls. He will watch over them day and night. Evil cannot touch the righteous, for the righteousness of Jesus Christ has overcome the evil of this world. Satan may try to tempt us, confuse us, and grab ahold of us, but remember we, the born-again believer, have the anointing, which comes through Jesus Christ, and His Spirit dwelling in us. There is power in the name of Jesus. God bless you. Amen

Everlasting love
"The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee" (Jeremiah 31:3 KJV). Everyone loves to be loved by someone. Love is more than a feeling. It is one's confidence and trust in another. It is a deep want and desire to be with one another and to grow together, not for a season only but into eternity. The apostle Paul speaks about love in the epistle to the church of Corinth. He says we can have everything in this world but if one does not have love they have nothing. We can give to the poor or be burned at the stake, and if we do not have love we profit nothing. Love makes the difference in our lives. We serve a God who loves every one of us with an everlasting love. His love oversees our wrongs. While we were sinners lost in our addictions, ungodly habits, and selfish desires, Christ came to this earth with great love and died for us. To ignore such a love would be ignorance. We have a choice every day to choose the love of Christ in our lives and to love Him back or to disregard His love. "But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. And above all things have fervent love for one another, for love will cover a multitude of sins.” (I Peter 4:7-8 NKJV). God bless you. Amen

Keeping the very best.
"But Saul and the people spared Agag, and the best of the sheep, and of the oxen, and of the fatlings, and the lambs, and all that was good, and would not utterly destroy them: but every thing that was vile and refuse, that they destroyed utterly" (1 Samuel 15:9 KJV). We too are guilty of keeping the very best for ourselves, what ever it may be. God will speak to us through His Word, message, and Spirit, and He will show us very clearly what is in our hearts that must be let go of. There are many things that are easy to let go of because they are of less importance to us. These are the ones that are easier to let go of and to forget. I am talking about sin in the heart of man, sin that one is trying to hide from loved ones, friends, and even God. Just like King Saul, you might have a problem keeping what is good to your flesh, and God has spoken to you many times of this particular thing. He has spoken many times to let it go, but it's funny because we tend to ignore His voice when it comes to personal hidden sin. We act as if He is not around or cannot see what the flesh craves and plays with. There is a solution to this guilt and shame. One does not need to live this way. However, it is up to that individual. They must want freedom from it. Then Jesus will set them free. We have to meet Christ all the way, not just halfway. We must meet Him with all our hearts or have no freedom. Saul lost every promise that God had for him and his family. He was a man that chose to do what his flesh desired, and today we have the same choice to live wholeheartedly for Christ Jesus or for ourselves. Choose! God bless you. Amen

Trusted in thee
"Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them." (Psalms 22:4 KJV). Jesus shows us His faithfulness throughout the Bible, from the beginning of Genesis to the end of Revelation. He shows us through His Word that those who believe in, trust in, and rely on Him will have eternal life. There are so many people in this late hour that have a trust issue. Their hearts have been broken many times. Men and women have hurt them, abandoned them, and left them without a cause. Best friends seem to come and go. You may say, "that is a thing of the past". In today's world, the mentality is "no one can be trusted". However, there is One you can trust. Trust is powerful because it opens the heart of the individual to rely on another. In order for us to trust in Jesus, we have to begin a relationship with Him, and in doing so we must open our hearts up to Him and allow His Word to saturate us in His love. Some people will give you their word and others will give you a hand shake, but Christ Jesus gave you His life. Which one would you trust the most? God bless you. Amen

Thy name
"And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee" (Psalms 9:10 KJV). Trusting in someone can be difficult if you and that individual don't have a relationship. Trust is built on a relationship between two or more people. Behind every good name is a good person, who is known by his or her character. There is no other name like the name Jesus. Christ's name is known by every man, woman, and possibly every child around this world. His character and willingness, which He has demonstrated, surely shows that He is the One True God whom we can trust in. To gain our trust in Christ, we must love Christ and obey His Word. Those who love someone will obey them, and in doing so trust begins. B.H. Clendennen once said, "If I love God, I obey God. If I obey God, I am walking in the Word of God. If I am walking in the Word of God in obedience to God, then I am walking in the faith of God. If I walk in the faith of God, I walk in the Spirit of God". Love, obedience, and faith; they are all separate, but where one is the other is there also. God bless you. Amen

If the world hate you
"If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you" (John 15:18 KJV). Today we live in such an evil world, where darkness floods so many minds and blinds so many eyes from seeing the Light and Truth in Jesus Christ. There are many radical groups in this world that are coming against the born-again believer and their faith in Jesus Christ. These groups of people have anger, hatred, and murder within their hearts. This can only come from one source, satan himself. These groups are out to steal, kill, and destroy every believer who confesses Jesus as Lord over their lives. They will not stop until they see everyone of us hurting, broken, and dead. However, little do they know nor do they understand that they are not only coming against the body of believers, but against Christ Jesus Himself. He is our refuge and stronghold, and with our faith in Him nothing or no one can hurt us. We're one with Him, and He is within us. "If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you." (vs. 19) We are not of this world. We are just passing through and are on our way to the Glorious City in the sky. People may come against us, but they cannot take our souls. We stand in Jesus. God bless you. Amen

Self-seeking
"For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there." (James 3:16 NKJV). Wow! This is so true. Confusion has risen and made its way into this young generation, teaching them that what is bad in the Word of God is now okay to do. Young people are being taught in the public schools that it is okay to express themselves in any way they choose. Boys can be girls and girls can be boys. It is the way of the culture. Many people are blind to the traps and snares of the enemy, for it is hard for one to see the Truth when they are blinded by self. Where the Truth is absent, darkness abounds and many deceiving spirits flood the grounds. Self opens the door to other things because it is limited, is filled with desires, and has its own appetite for ungodly things. Self seekers allow pride to rule, and along with pride comes all other familiar spirits. Envy and bitterness, which begin to surround the heart of the self-righteous soul, causes them to rebel against the Truth. Evil stands at the door of their hearts, convincing them to do other things, for self is never satisfied, but is always hungry for more. "But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic." (vs. 14-15). Satan is all about himself, and that is why self can never understand the Truth of God. God bless you. Amen

Peace and holiness
"Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord" (Hebrews 12:14 NKJV). How do people recognize you as a born-again believer? Can they see and recognize the difference between you as a believer and the people of the world? Do you hold your peace and allow God to do His will? There is so much chaos in this world today. People need to see Jesus living through you and I. They are looking for the Truth, and we must show them the Truth. In today's church, holiness is looked at as a thing of the past. It has been forgotten about in our lives and in the church. To many people, holiness has been defined by modern man as legalism. Some people believe that holiness was the way of the past and it is not for today. They will argue the fact that it is okay to drink alcohol and smoke cigarettes, only to allow more compromise in their lives. Holiness is a way of life that is given to the born-again believer through the Holy Spirit. One will recognize themselves as being a child of God, purchased by Christ Jesus, and as a result their lives will be surrendered unto His will. Then comes the separation from the things of this world that the Holy Spirit convicts and speaks to the born-again believer's heart about. This separation comes through the finished work on the cross of Christ and our faith in His work. The more one grows in the Word of God the closer he or she gets to our Lord Jesus and the deeper the separation from this world through the flesh becomes. We need holiness and peace. God bless you. Amen

You are all
"For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus." (Galatians 3:26 NKJV). To stay in God is to stay in faith. Faith lifts us out of time and puts us back into eternity, where God the Father meets us. Faith comes from God. It is a gift from God and a fruit of the Spirit. Every born-again believer will receive the gift of faith, a faith that will not keep them down but will ever so keep them moving forward in the name of the Lord Jesus. Faith's one function is to regain heavenly ground. Faith continues to grow as we, the believers, continue to obey the Word of God. It is by hearing the Word of God, applying it to our lives, and obeying the Word that causes faith to grow within us. The same faith Abraham, Moses, Elijah, Hannah, Paul, Peter, and the rest of the patriarchs of old had exists in you and I as born-again believers. Faith is activated and comes through hearing the Word of God. "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God." (Romans 10:17 NKJV). Faith is a powerful gift from God because it puts one where God is. As the believer hears the of voice their Savior all so near, faith opens up the believer's heart and pushes doubt and fear aside. Faith positions us as though we have never fallen. Receive the gift and you will not be disappointed. God bless you. Amen
