I shall be whole
"For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole" (Mark 5:28 KJV). It's time we take a step of faith into the call of God. Some of us may be sick, hurt, or bound, but we have a faithful Savior who looks upon us. Step out from among the crowd, reach for Christ, and receive from our Lord by faith. This woman had deep and personal issues that no one could heal. She was tired of being bound by her illness. She was tired of living a life separate from those she loved. This woman was unclean and without any hope. However, when she heard Jesus of Nazareth coming through, she was not about to let herself stop her from receiving. She knew she was going to get her healing someway or somehow from the Man of God. She knew within her heart that if she would just reach out and touch the hem of His garment she would be healed. That is faith! It is faith when one steps out in action, in hope to receive from God above. Faith is when one lets go and separates themselves from the world. She had doubt in man because she was at a point in her life where she spent all she had on doctors to help her get well, but as a result of doing so it only worsened. So, doubt probably came to her many times over the 12 years of being ill. However, when she heard of Jesus Christ, something came upon her. She had nothing to lose. She was now walking in faith, and she stepped out into the crowd of people, where before she wouldn't dare to do so. Faith began to stir up inside of her. We need to walk by faith and not by sight. God bless you. Amen
