Right word
"How forceful are right words! But what does your arguing prove"? (Job 6:25 NKJV). Anger kills, hatred murders, but love restores. Arguing does not prove anything, but only gets one stirred up in anger. I recently got into an argument with someone that I love very much, and words were exchanged that hurt both of us. Many times arguing does not settle anything. It only causes more damage and problems than it solves. It is sad that conversations can take a turn when anger arises in the midst of two people who are trying to work things out. Many times the pharisees tried to find fault in Jesus and start arguments with Him, but Christ knew better then to fall for their tricks. We as believers need to learn how to stand up in the midst of arguments and walk away because the flesh can arise. Sometimes it's best to keep our mouths shut, and not let the enemy get a foot hold on us. There is a place and a time to speak your heart out to those who you love. It seems like they are the ones that really come against Who we believe in. Just remember they do not know any better, for many are blinded to the Gospel of Christ. God bless you. Amen
