Seek Him

"Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart" (‭Psalms‬ ‭119‬:‭2‬ KJV). Some say, "If God is real, I am going to know Him". That is wrong! God is real! You can know Him to be real if you will seek Him. Getting to know Him is not just opening up the Bible and reading it, but is it is getting alone with Him on your knees and upon your face before Him through prayer. So many Christians hear about Jesus, but do not really know Him. They read about Him in the Gospels, starting with Matthew all the way through the New Testament. He is everywhere in the Word of God, from Genesis to Revelation, yet many don't know Him. Prayer is the way to get to know the One who we serve. One cannot get to know the King of Glory only by a story. It takes a relationship and a desire. Prayer brings God's presence into our presence. In His midst, He will begin to pour out His mind and will, His Spirit, into our lives. We have the right to know Him. You don't have to live guessing whether or not God is real because He is real! We have to know Whom we serve. Unfortunately, prayer is the most neglected practice in the modern day church, but it is the only way we will know Him. Let's stop living a religious life and live an intimate life with Jesus Christ. God bless you. Amen
