Bread of God

"For the Bread of God is He Who comes down out of heaven and gives life to the world"(‭John‬ ‭6‬:‭33‬ AMP). Lift up the One who saved you! Cry out to the One who brought you from death to life! Jesus is worthy of praise. When I was lost, it was dark and gloomy. There was not a light around. I was bound by my flesh and the appetites of it. Nothing was going to set me free from the bitterness and ugliness within my heart. The more I medicated myself with drugs and alcohol the darker life got around me, until there was no life left within me. The devil came in and took my joy, happiness, pure thoughts, integrity, and even my pride, to where I had nothing left. Sometimes we get so busy chasing after things that have no value to us at all. We get so desperate and hungry for the passions and desires of this world, only to find ourselves wanting and desiring more. I tried everything this world has to satisfy my soul, for it hungered for things that would not keep it satisfied. Jesus said if we come to Him we will never thirst or hunger any more. "Jesus replied, I am the Bread of Life. He who comes to Me will never be hungry, and he who believes in and cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me will never thirst any more (at any time)" (‭John‬ ‭6‬:‭35‬ AMP) . He was saying our souls will be satisfied and filled with His goodness. The Holy Spirit will always keep us fulfilled. God bless you. Amen
