Pray

"And when he had sent them away, he departed into a mountain to pray" (‭Mark‬ ‭6‬:‭46‬ KJV). Our communication with God is what keeps us near to God and Him near to us. God is faithful to fulfill His promises in our lives, and in doing so we too must be faithful to God. Prayer helps, not only does it help but it is a great must in our lives. Prayer is an action of our trust in our Lord Jesus Christ. Powerful men and women of God that we've read about in history, were men and women of prayer. They devoted themselves to have daily communion with our Lord. In deep opposition of time, they went and hid themselves away from every public eye and distraction and began to call upon our Lord Jesus Christ. Christ said to follow after Him and abide in Him, the Word of Truth. When we do this, we follow Him to the place where He is right now, at the right hand of God the Father interceding for all humanity. Jesus' ministry never stopped. He is still very much involved and on the front lines for you and I. The greatest ministry we see Jesus involved in, when He walked this earth and as He is in heaven, is the ministry of intercessional prayer. If we are truly following our Savior, our Lord, our Redeemer, our Jesus, then we are following Him to a place of prayer. God bless you. Amen
