Gracious and Merciful
"Nevertheless in Your great mercy You did not utterly consume them nor forsake them; For You are God, gracious and merciful" (Nehemiah 9:31 NKJV). If we are not watchful, the war within us can get the best of us. The Lord is good, even when we are in the middle of a battle. He is always ready to stand up for us. In this last hour, the enemy is using all he can to get our eyes off the One True God. The devil will use family members and loved ones to come against us and the One we believe In. The devil doesn't care how much he hurts us or tries to hurt us. He wants souls to be miserable and full of unforgiveness towards others. He could care less. It doesn't matter to him how old or young an individual may be. He is only out to kill, steal, and destroy everyone of us. We read about the children of Israel and the many times they were in battle with their own souls. They were confused, lost, and in sin. However, God never left them. He abided with them, in hope to get their eyes fixed back on Him. "You also gave Your good Spirit to instruct them, And did not withhold Your manna from their mouth, And gave them water for their thirst" (Nehemiah 9:20 NKJV). In the middle of the wilderness of our spiritual walk, He is willing to take care of you and I. There is going to be quite a few times in our lives that we will want to quit and give up, just as the children of Israel often did. We tend to look the other way and do our own thing, and in doing so we rebel against the commands of God. Remember Jesus is waiting for your cry. God bless you. Amen
