A child is born

"For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace" (Isaiah 9:6 NKJV). We are such a blessed people to have Jesus, who came to fight for us and die for us. He has given us eternal life and forgiven us of all our sins. He came to a world that is cursed with darkness and wickedness. He came to a people that have been bound for decades, lost, tormented, confused, and led by darkness for many years. He came to a lost and broken world. He came so that those who believe in Him might be free and those who desire to follow Him will be called sons and daughters of God. He is the true meaning of Christmas, our Lord Jesus Christ. As we look at the tree decorated with ornaments of assorted colors and lights blinking on and off, let us remember Jesus, the Lamb of God, when He hung on a tree for you and I to be free. God brought us the gift of salvation, a perfect savior without blemish or sin. He has given us all that we need and everything our heart could desire. He is our peace, joy, and our everlasting love. Give Christ some of your time today. Glorify and praise Him, for the greatest gift came from Him. God bless you. Amen
