Endure the for ever

"But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you" (1 Peter 1:25 KJV). As the children of Israel traveled in the wilderness of sin and temptation, they faced many struggles in their lives. There were many, if not all, who suffered for the Word of God, and they prevailed through the Word of God. We have that very Word of God in our hands today. God made a way for them to spread the Word to all who would hear the Good News. He kept them safe from all the traps of the enemy and had great mercy on them. We have the Word of God today in our hands. Not only do we have it in front of us, but it also lives inside of us, as it did in many others during the times of old. God made a way, through His mercy unto man, that His Word would be taken to all humanity. Many people suffered and were martyred for God's very Word, but our Lord prevailed. His Word is true and faithful. It is reliable and alive, bringing life to all who believe and obey it. The Word of God will endure forever, and those who abide in Him will also endure forever in eternal life in the kingdom of God. Abide in the Word of God today, for many suffered and died for it so that you and I may have it. Give God praise. God bless you. Amen
