Justified
"Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God" (Romans 5:1, 2 ESV). The Lord Jesus Christ will always be there for us through the good and bad times. As long as we put our faith in Him, He will always take care of us, even if we fall into our weaknesses. Through one's faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, he or she is justified, acquitted, and declared righteous through the blood of Jesus Christ. The apostle Paul was speaking to the believer. He said that not only are we justified by our faith in the Lord, but we also have a peace and an understanding that God loves us no matter where we have been or what He has brought us out of. Even when we were powerless to help ourselves, Christ still died for us. He saw our need. What great love the Lord showed to us by sending His only son to die for us while we were yet sinners. God's grace is so good, and we do not deserve it. His grace is not a license to sin, not at all. His grace empowers the believer when they are going through sufferings and trials of different sorts. God's grace comes through our faith in our Lord Jesus. Faith gives us access to God's grace. Grace keeps us from going backwards, and it gives latitude for the Holy Spirit to push us forward and to bring us into an everlasting hope. God bless you. Amen
