I am he that liveth
"I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death" (Revelation 1:18 KJV). Jesus is alive forever more, and He has forgiven all those who believe and have faith in Him. He holds the keys of hell and death in his hands. Yes, He has conquered and continues to bring victory to every believer who relies on Him. Even if we, run in fear, just as His disciples did that night of our Lord's arrest, Jesus still loves us. He proved His love, even for all of those who have rejected Him, by becoming the greatest sacrifice ever. At the cross, He bled, and His blood washes away all of our sins. At the cross, He died and defeated all darkness. At the tomb, He resurrected with the keys of hell and death, giving everyone a chance at a new life free of sin. The Lord Jesus might have been despised and rejected by men, but He has never rejected nor despised any man on this earth. He's given everyone a chance to open up their hearts to His grace, mercy, and glory. He has opened the floodgates of heaven through the cross of Calvary. He has given us the Holy Spirit to teach us and show us the great mysteries of God our Father. It takes the Holy Spirit inside of us, the third person of the Trinity, to keep us in right standing with God. He brings life to us, a life that reassures us that we have victory and live in victory because of what happened in Jerusalem over 2,000 years ago. Jesus is the greatest gift we can give to anyone. He is the reason for the season. Give Him praise. God bless you. Amen
