His name Immanuel.
"Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel" (Isaiah 7:14 NKJV). The greatest gift ever given to all who exist was given from God the Father 2,000 years ago in the city of David. There in a little stable the King of glory was born, the Lord of lords and the King of kings, our Savior Jesus Christ. From that moment on, the Lord has been a great threat to all who walk and desire to live a life separated from Him. King Herod did not want the Savior of the World to be manifested. So, he called out a charge to kill every male child under the age of two years old. "Then Herod, when he saw that he was deceived by the wise men, was exceedingly angry; and he sent forth and put to death all the male children who were in Bethlehem and in all its districts, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had determined from the wise men" (Matthew 2:16 NKJV). From that point on, the Lord Jesus lived up to 33 years of age. He began His ministry at the age of 30. Just as he was a threat to the ungodly when He came into this world, He still exists as a threat to the darkness of this world. Jesus came with a purpose and that was to bring peace and joy to every believer in this world. He recognized this world needed more than priests and prophets. It needed a savior, One who would redeem all humanity from the wickedness and the darkness. He is the reason why we celebrate Christmas. God bless you. Amen
