A new creature
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation" (2 Corinthians 5:17, 18 KJV). One will not stay the same after the Lord has touched them. Jesus has the power to renew a life that has been raised in wickedness and blinded by the darkness. There is no way that one who has allowed the Lord to touch their heart will remain the same old person. Once the Lord Jesus touches that heart, it is changed for ever. He releases His Spirit's power into his or her life, and it begins to cleanse and purge away everything that stands against the Truth. Everyone Jesus has ever come into contact with has their own will. However, those who are looking for freedom and healing and allow the Lord Jesus to touch their heart, will give Christ the invitation to reach them. The Lord Jesus will not hesitate, for He sees the desires of their heart. If one is wanting to be set free and calls upon Him, Jesus will set them free. If one needs healing and believes in Jesus for that healing, the healing will come to pass. Our God has given Christ our Lord the power and the Name to reach all who are in need. God the Father has also given us the power through the Holy Spirit to minister, heal, evangelize, and pray for those who are in need. For just as Christ Jesus came into this world to save those who are bound up, we too have the ability, in the name of Christ Jesus and through the power of the Holy Spirit, to reach out to those in need this very day. So, how can one stay the same after being touched by the power of our God? God bless you. Amen
