His compassions fail not.

"It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness" (Lamentations 3:22, 23 KJV). Great is your faithfulness, Oh Lord, for Your mercies are new each and everyday. Every new day with the Lord begins in the morning when we rise out of the bed. So, we start our day with Him, and He does not carry yesterday's issues into today. His mercies are new every morning. He shows us His love, even if the world stands against what we believe in. Circumstances may arise and try to bring us down. They may try to squeeze the best out of us, but when a child of God is down His Father is High Above. There might be times in our lives where we feel far from God, as if He is not around. Every believer has gone through this trial, a period of dryness. The Lord is there in the midst of us, even if it does not feel like He is. He is there waiting to hear our voice and waiting for us to grab for His hand. Many times the prophet Jeremiah, also known as the weeping prophet, found himself alone without encouragement or a response to his cry. However, just when he was feeling like giving up and when doubt had stormed into his mind and heart, he remembered something that restored his hope. We are not consumed because of the Lord's mercies.
