Victory

"For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith" (1 John 5:4 KJV). So many believers are trying to live a victorious life, but they find themselves losing to the sin nature. The cross has set men free, giving them life and the fullness of it. Jesus paid our sin debt by being the sacrifice and making a blood covenant with God the Father. We, as believers, must put our faith continuously in Christ Jesus and the work done at the cross. This is the only way to a victorious life. Jesus was broken, beaten, and given a cross to lay Himself upon. He did this openly, without saying a word. He did it for you and I. He did it to give us constant freedom and victory over the principalities of darkness. Our faith must be exclusively in Christ. Our faith must be immovable, trusting, and relying on His Word of truth. Unfortunately, most of the modern-day church is not living a victorious life in Jesus Christ. There are many bound and blinded that are assuming all is well, but inside they are empty and unfulfilled. So, they look for happiness and freedom in other things besides Jesus and the cross. Some live a life seeking freedom through adultery, lying, drugs, addictions of all sorts, immorality, sensuality, covetousness, and all other worldly ways. They walk around empty, confused, out of order, and looking for the answer. Jesus Christ is the answer for every sinner. He is the answer for the broken hearted person that wants freedom, but there is a price. They must want freedom above anything else, repent, and pick up their cross. Jesus is our victory. He has overcome and conquered the world! God bless you. Amen
