Waves beat

"And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full" (Mark 4:37 KJV). Without warning, the sky got dark and the clouds rolled in. What started off as a good and bright day, now seemed gloomy. The disciples were about to learn a lesson on faith in a mist of a storm. Jesus is our great teacher. He was showing His disciples that as long as we are here on this earth storms will arise from out of nowhere. He was in the stern of the boat sleeping, but up on top there was a hurricane like storm putting fear in these men of God. There are some issues in life that we, as men, can take care of. However, when the storms that surround our hearts, our minds, and even our homes are so big, we find ourselves powerless and unable to see through them. At all times, Jesus must be in the boat. Fear not for the Lord is there with you, just call upon Him. As followers of Jesus Christ, there will be many powerful times and moments in our lives where God will demonstrate His great love, mercy, and grace to us. However, through this great journey of living a life with Christ and following after our Savior, there will be storms that will arise in the midst of us. The storms are spiritual, and they're here to try our faith, to build us, and to mature us into greater students and disciples for our Savior. Storms will come in many ways. Storms can come through family, in the workplace, in the church house, or in marriage. Through it all, the Lord is there in the midst of us and with us in the storms. He guarantees our safety, as He stands between us and the waves of life, that blow the winds of doubt and unbelief. He is there with us. Reassure yourself, call upon Him, and grab for Him. God bless you. Amen
