Pray and not turn coward
"ALSO [Jesus] told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not to turn coward (faint, lose heart, and give up)" (Luke 18:1 AMP). Cry out with all your heart, and open your mouth with a voice of praise to the Lord of Hosts. Prayer is our lifeline to God the Father. Prayer gets the attention of God the Father. Prayer gives Him latitude to move in the midst of our lives. His hands are towards those who cry out at all times. Prayer time alone with God is the most important time of the day. It builds us, strengthens us, and gives us what we need to get through the day. Prayer is the instrument to communicate with God. There is no other way to communicate with the Lord, except through prayer. Prayer is the only avenue to communicate with Him. Without prayer in one's life, that life is empty, dry, and void from His sweet presence. The following is what E.M. Bound says about a prayerless life, "Not to pray is a denial of God, a denial of His existence, a denial of His nature, a denial of His purpose towards mankind". We may clam Him, Jesus Christ, as our savior, but if there is no relationship and communication with Him, then one should not blame Him at the end when He says, "I do not know you". It's important that every believer finds time to pray. Christianity is empty without prayer. One cannot expect a victorious life on their own strength through a prayerless life. Reach to the heavens with the voice of supplication in the name of Jesus. God bless you. Amen
