Life abundantly
"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly" (John 10:10 ESV). Sometimes life makes no sense when one is fighting the good fight of faith. The spiritual realm is an atmosphere of its own, one that God has in control and will always be under His control. However, in the season when difficulties arise in our hearts and in our lives, Jesus is waiting for us to cry aloud to Him, who sits at the right hand of God the Father in Heaven above. It is in these seasons that we are being pruned by the Holy Spirit. He is cultivating our hearts for a brighter and greater future in and with Him. In these times, the enemy sees the spiritual cultivation and growth in our personal lives, and he is out to stop the construction that God is doing within our souls. He will try to come in to disrupt our lives. In the beginning of Jesus's ministry, satan attacked Christ with temptation, throwing desires at Him that are common to the flesh of man. The devil has not changed. He is still after the next best thing Jesus gave so freely, our faith and salvation. Satan has come ONLY to steal, kill, and destroy. He wants to break us from our faith in the Word of God, and he will make things look bigger than they really are. Try not to let the issues at hand or the storms we're passing through get bigger than they really are. There is light at the end of the storm and also Jesus with His arms wide open. Continue in prayer and fasting. Continue to diligently seek the face of God and you will find hope and endurance. God bless you. Amen
