Justified by His Blood

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him" (Romans 5:8, 9 KJV). Satan was stopped in his tracks at the cross of Calvary. Satan no longer has a legal right to hold anyone in bondage. Christ defeated satan and his henchmen at the cross. Christ's sacrifice was an atonement for all sin. Christ and the cross brings freedom and liberty to all who have faith in the work done through Jesus. Our sins have been hung at the cross forever. Every kind of perversion, burden, lie, adultery, murder, and evil that man was bound by has been hung on the cross. The problem is that many in the modern-day church don't understand the cross of Christ and the very work that was done there. Jesus freed us all from sin. He gave us the right to draw near to God without man having to do it for us, as in the days of Moses. Jesus made a covenant with God the Father through His own blood, atoning all humanity. Through this covenant, grace was given freely to all people through faith in the work done at Calvary. Grace abounds, which brings us to a place where we are freely forgiven, as long as we forgive others and confess our sins. Grace abounds, giving us mercy, even if we do not deserve it. However, grace does not give us a license to sin. Sin was done away with at the cross of Christ. "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus" (Romans 3:23, 24 KJV). God is good, and He has made a way for all to receive salvation. God bless you. Amen
