Forgiven
“Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, And whose sins are covered; Blessed is the man to whom the Lord shall not impute sin.” (Romans 4:7, 8 NKJV). Lord, we give you thanks and praise you, Father, for when we lived in guilt and shame you were always there to renew our hearts. So many people today are defeated by guilt. It seems like guilt takes over the mind and begins to talk to us. It lets us know how worthless we are and how useless it is to serve the Lord. So many Christians do not know how amazing God's forgiveness and mercy is. So many people cannot recognize that God is love. God is all forgiving. He sent His precious son as a sacrifice so that we all may be forgiven and redeemed. By believing in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we are not only set free from all guilt and shame that sin brings, but we have everlasting life with the King of Glory. We have to believe, for there is no condemnation while walking in Jesus Christ. We've been washed by His precious blood. He loves us so much, even when we do fail. He has compassion and mercy that the carnal mind cannot understand. "Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord—that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful" (James 5:11 NKJV). Thank you Father God for such mercy. God bless you all.
