Seek the Lord and His Strength

"Seek the Lord and His strength. Seek His face evermore!" (I Chronicles 16:11 NKJV). Seeking the Lord should not be a hard thing to do when so many things move daily in our lives. Just like David, we must begin to rejoice because the Ark of the Covenant found its place and home. We too must rejoice for God's presence is everywhere. King David was so excited about God's presence that he appointed the Levites to minister before the Ark of the Lord, and He commanded all to celebrate in thanksgiving and in praising the Lord. Oh what a glorious day that must have been to see the people just praising God and giving Him thanks! What has God done for you that is worthy of praise? Just think about it. So many challenges and issues surround us. Maybe the enemy is knocking at your door, or trying to fill your mind with doubt and unbelief. David gives us the answer to overcome all of life's trials. We overcome just by praising God and giving Him thanks. Begin by seeking the Lord and His strength. We must seek His face in order to be continually in His presence. What a blessing it is to seek the Lord. When life seems tough, begin to give God thanks. All the thoughts and threats cannot compare to God's sweet presence. It takes God's presence to move the mountains in our lives. King David was not going to fulfill his call until he was in reach of God's presence. God bless you. Amen.
