Rooted and built up in Him

"As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in Him: rooted and built up in Him, and established in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving" (Colossians 2:6, 7 KJV). How precious our Lord is, who has redeemed us from the darkness of the world. So many times our situations look so helpless and hopeless, when all of the sudden the Lord shows us the way. Through these times our faith will grow, and it will continue to grow in Jesus Christ. As we grow more in Christ Jesus, our faith will also grow, and soon enough we will have faith that is not moved by circumstances that surround us. We as children of God continually grow even through trials of hardships. The hardships are there to teach us, to mold us, to shape us, and to frame us into what God expects us to be. The Lord wants us to rely on Him continually and not on the strength of this world or in the arm of man. He's looking for us to have total fellowship with Him and to have our hope and trust in Him. Our hope and trust must be totally in Him and not in ourselves. The more we rely on the world, the less we will rely on our Lord. If we rely on the world, our faith will never grow. We must stop demanding so much from the world and start asking, trusting, and relying on our Father, which is in Heaven. In today's society, many nations have the convenience of having whatever they need to live, such as food and water. So, faith isn't on the list to survive. As a result, we see nations and people dead spiritually.True convenience is being rooted and built in Christ. God bless you.
