God is faithful.
"God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord" (I Corinthians 1:9 NKJV). The apostle Paul writes to the Corinthian church, giving thanks to God on behalf of the grace God gave them. Paul spoke about how Christ died, resurrected, and left the church with the Holy Spirit, in order to fill them with utterance, all knowledge, and also to confirm the testimony of Christ. God is looking for fellowship. He longs for fellowship with each one of us. He sent His son that we might have fullness of life and be enriched by Him. God is faithful. He is so faithful that He gave us a Savior. He gave us a Savior in order to bring the ones that He dearly loves to salvation, that is all humanity. He could have given us anything else that might have saved us, for He is God. However, He sent His son as a sacrifice for us that we may be in fellowship with Him. God sure showed His love for humanity by giving us a sacrifice in order that we may be reconciled, made right and brought back to Him. What great love the Father has for us all. He is so faithful. We must also be faithful in the Lord Jesus. In the next chapter, the apostle Paul says, "For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and Him crucified"(1Cor.2:2). Paul had no other purpose but to come to the knowledge of Christ Jesus and Him Crucified. That is the Message, the message that saves the sinner, sets the captive free, and gives the believer perpetual victory. God bless you. Amen.
