No condemnation.

"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit" (Romans 8:1 KJV). Guilt and shame are the killers of our spirit. They are a branch from the root of sin. For they flood and consume the mind. Guilt and shame begin to throw thoughts such as: "You are unworthy!" or "You cannot make it. You're just a failure". Many young people come to church, hear the Gospel of Christ, and run down to the altar to give their lives over to the Lord. They surrender. We lead them in a simple prayer, we call the "sinner's prayer", and many will leave the house of God saved. However, a day or two may go by and that old familiar sin will come to mind. Just like a hook with bait on it, they go for the sin and immediately after guilt fills their minds. The enemy sees this baby Christian batting the water for their life, and he will come to them and make them feel even more unworthy. He's the devil. He doesn't care if they are just kids. By the way, it is the younger generation that is his target and what he has his sights set on. We must understand that we cannot fight this battle on our own personal strength. That is why God sent His Holy Spirit to work inside of us. The Holy Spirit exclusively works inside of our hearts and with time He will have all of us. He will be rooted throughout us. Yes, failure will come, but remember there is no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus. The price has been paid at Calvary. The Holy Spirit reassures us that God is a merciful God, and that He is not here to condemn us but only to love us. God bless you all. Amen.
