My own hear.

"The sheep that are My own hear and are listening to My voice; and I know them, and they follow Me" (John 10:27 AMP). The sheep will hear the Lord's voice for they have an ear to listen to Him and obey Him. Jesus uses a parable to explain and illustrate to us what He's talking about. The parable speaks of the Good Shepherd, how the sheep listen to Him, and how they are acquainted with His voice. The shepherd watches over flocks of sheep, and over time the sheep become familiar with the voice of that shepherd. The shepherd is out there night and day with his flock. Rain or shine he watches over the sheep. So, the sheep are not at all fearful of the shepherd in the sense of him being a threat to them. The shepherd is found to be gentle, loving, giving, and looks after the very best of the flock. Jesus says, "I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd risks and lays down His own life for the sheep". The words of Jesus describes the life of a shepherd. The shepherd desires to see the very best for his sheep, and when the wolves come he's there fighting them off. He also warns the sheep of any threats that come near. Enter in the door of the sheepfold today, and become sensitive to our Lord's voice. Amen. God bless you
