He must rise again from the dead.

"For as yet they did not know the Scripture, that He must rise again from the dead" (John 20:9 NKJV). Jesus has risen from the grave, has walked out of the tomb, and is alive, sitting at the right hand of God the Father in heaven above. When the disciples heard Mary say, "They have taken the body of Jesus and we do not know where they laid Him", they ran down to the tomb and found it empty with only the burial cloth within it. What a sight that must've been! They probably felt so fearful not knowing what had happened to the body of the Lord Jesus Christ. Immediately, the disciples walked back home puzzled about who would've taken the body of Jesus Christ. Meanwhile, Mary stayed back. While she was standing beside the tomb sobbing, Christ asked her why she was crying. For a moment she did not recognize Him as being the Lord. Then Jesus said to her, "Mary", and out of her amazement she recognized the voice of Jesus. What a powerful resurrection and great promise to the body of Christ. See, they could not understand where Christ's body went because they weren't studying the scripture. This is why it's so important to study the Word of God and to ask the Lord for understanding and discernment through the Holy Spirit. Just like the disciples lacked the knowledge of scripture, so do many people today who are born again. Let's not put aside the Word of God but grab a hold of it, and do not miss out on the gifts our Risen King bestows upon us. God bless you all. Amen
