Acquainted

"He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not" (Isaiah 53:3 KJV). Jesus knows exactly what we all go through here on this earth. He's familiar with the stress, temptation, depression, pain, rejection, insults, name calling, and everything else a person may be going through. Jesus said He would never leave us, nor forsake us. He has given His Spirit to everyone of us who believe and abide in His Word. His Spirit comes to live inside of us, dwelling inside the believer. This is the third person of the Trinity. He has come to dwell in and bring life to every believer. The Holy Spirit was with Jesus through His whole ministry here on Earth. He walked with Jesus. He abided deeply in Jesus. This is God's gift to all who desire Him. Jesus poured out His life for us, and the Holy Spirit was there every step and every moment of the way. The Holy Spirit was there when Jesus was being flogged, persecuted, and rejected by His own. The Holy Spirit was there with Him when Jesus carried the cross all the way up the hill to Golgotha. When the nails went into His wrists and feet, He was there. The Holy Spirit's job here on this earth is to make great and mighty believers, disciples that will hold the Truth in their hearts and desire nothing else. So, He understands what we are going through, for He was with Jesus every minute of His ministry. He's come with a mission, that is to make disciples in this last hour. God bless you. Amen
