Flame of fire

"And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed" (Exodus 3:2 KJV). Moses was called by God to free the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt, out of a land of slavery and bondage. When God found Moses, he was alone. He was all by himself watching his father-in-law's sheep. Moses was out in the wilderness for 40 years. He was being prepared for the greatest task he would ever do in his lifetime. God was able to speak to Moses because there was noone around except a burning bush, which was filled with a fire but was not consumed. God got Moses' attention, and He will get ours also. It may not come in the form of a burning bush, but usually through the Holy Spirit, who will speak to our hearts. In the very presence of God, Moses was given instruction by the Creator to go back into the land where the children of Israel were enslaved and crying out for a deliverer. It's in the very presence, when we are alone with God, that He is able to speak to us, reach into our hearts, and give us His very command. In that presence, Christ Jesus will shine His life, His great Light inside of our hearts. We will not leave God's presence the same because when His presence begins to fill the heart of man, that man is definitely a free servant of the Lord. Moses was able to walk into the land of Egypt, not alone but with the glory of God leading him. Our Lord led him to the throne of Pharaoh himself, and the rest was in God's control, as it was in the beginning. Great things begin when a man or woman are found alone with the Lord. Being alone with God brings a deeper and more powerful relationship with Him. The Lord speaks to those who withdraw from the natural into the supernatural. God bless you. Amen
