Without Faith It Is Impossible

"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him" (Hebrews 11:6 KJV). Faith will take a man further into the will of God. Faith in our Lord will bring the Helper, the Holy Spirit, who will begin purging away every unnecessary weight that may hold us down or cause us to struggle. However, there must also be a desire, a hunger, in the believer's heart to continue in the will of God. When God asked Abraham to get up and go to the land of promise, he did not stay back or think about it. Abraham immediately gathered himself and his family and began a great journey of trials and testing into the land God had promised him. When God told Joshua to cross the Jordan River and take the children of Israel into the promise land, he did not hesitate either. These men followed the Word of God by faith. Ruth knew there was something greater to look forward to than what was among her family in the land of Moab. So, she wept and asked Naomi if she could go with her to her land, the land of promise. Faith will never keep a person the same. They will always grow and pursue the things from above, where God the Father sits. We must allow God to prepare us for greater faith, for there is a reward for those that diligently seek Him. God bless you. Amen
