Perfect peace

"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee" (Isaiah 26:3 KJV). You bring hope to your children, O Lord. When difficulties surround our homes and begin to pound at our hearts, we can always call on you. We know that you will relieve us and bring us hope through the trials. O Lord, you are always there at the right time. Within the believer's heart, we naturally know, Lord, that you are standing near us and watching over us, even when we do not feel you or see you. So, we wait patiently for you. Without a doubt, we know you're in the midst of us and our difficulties. The saints of old caught on to faith very quickly, for they had nothing else to hold on to. When difficulties arose around them, they wasted no time. They came together in prayer and began to worship the Lord, not only for their need, but for their hunger for His presence. The greatest hindrance to a believer is themselves. When issues and difficulties arise, some turn to the world, assuming that it's the easy and painless way to fix it. However, they find out quickly that it was a quicker way but not painless, for they had to be in it all alone, without the help of the Father. Many times we will find ourselves walking alone, doing our own thing, and trying to get through the storm without our Lord. It's time that we call upon our Lord Jesus, and allow Him to push our pride away, along with selfishness and our own strength. When God takes care of His children, He takes care of them with an everlasting purpose, and no issue or difficulty could ever stop that child from growing in Christ. God bless you. Amen
